Lapua’s Chris Simmons Finishes Strong at Yeti Spring Fling
Sedalia, MO – Team Lapua member Chris Simmons outscored 100 other competitors to secure a second-place finish at the 2023 Yeti Spring Fling NRL22X Match.
The 2023 Yeti Spring Fling, hosted by the Kentucky Precision Rimfire, took place at the Buck Creek Rifle Range in Somerset, KY, April 29th. The NRL22X match consisted of 10 different stages with competitors engaging targets from 50 yards to 350 yards.
“The Yeti rimfire matches are always awesome and stacked with a field of talented shooters,” commented Simmons. “The new Lapua Super Long Range ammo has been ultra-consistent and allowed me to reach the podium the past couple of matches!”
New for 2023, Lapua expanded their successful line of 22LR ammunition with Super Long Range and Long Range. The new 22LR ammo features the lowest standard deviation (SD) and extreme spreads (ES) versus competitor ammunition, achieving the highest precision down range. Demanding shooters competing in disciplines where targets are routinely placed beyond 300+ yards, such as Extreme Long Range (ELR), Precision Rife Series (PRS), and National Rifle League (NRL), will benefit from Lapua’s unmatched quality.
