Jack Neary of Team USA shot a new 200-yard World Record for smallest 5-shot group, measuring .110”. Neary’s confirmed world record was set using Vihtavuori N133 powder, hand loaded with the 6mm PPC cartridge during the World Benchrest Championships this past week in Calgary, Canada.
The World Benchrest Championships are held every two years and attract competitors from over 30 countries, testing their skills at 100-yard and 200-yard distances. Neary established his world record in the Light Varmint rifle class (10.5-lb max rifle weight) and then went on to help Team USA secure the Gold Medal in the 4-man team event.
Jack stated, “Vihtavuori’s temperature stability and cleaning burning attributes have been instrumental for competitors to achieve world record accuracy in the furthest corners of the world. I humbly congratulate Vihtavuori as being the real winner here.”
Vihtavuori powder was used by nearly every competitor (over 90%) during the World Benchrest Championships and continues to dominate both benchrest and Extreme Long Range competitive rifle shooting disciplines. Load Vihtavuori Propellants in all of your firearms and experience the Power of Accuracy.
