Salazar brings a long background of international business and competitive shooting to Capstone. Salazar, who is bilingual, holds a degree in administration and 20+ years working for international companies in the USA, Canada, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and UAE within the energy sector. Salazar, who recently achieved Master class designation, is a rifle silhouette competitor. Highlights of his competitive shooting background include:
- International, Metallic silhouette shooting experience in Mexico, Canada, and UAE
- National smallbore rifle AAA champion in USA, Canada, and Mexico
- Multiple state awards in both high power and smallbore disciplines
- Two-time smallbore champion in the North of Sonora shooting league in Mexico
