Mesa, AZ – Team Berger’s Missy Gilliland took first place and top lady at the Master Piece Arms Regional PRS Match this past weekend with a score of 85 out of a possible 100.
The MPA Regional Series PRS Match was held at the Arena Training Facility in Blakely, GA on May 1, 2021. Gilliland competed with her GA Precision rifle chambered in 6mm Creedmoor with Berger 105 Grain Hybrid Target projectiles loaded in Lapua cartridge cases.
Gilliland stated, “We had a lot of difficult winds that day, but I focused on the mirage, the environment and trusted my Berger bullets and Kestrel wind meter. I went into this match with a different mindset. I was calm and kept telling myself to slow down. It definitely paid off in the end and I was thrilled to take the win.”
Berger’s Hybrid Target projectiles feature an optimized hybrid-ogive design which easily tunes to your rifle, offers superior exterior ballistics, and high Ballistic Coefficients (BC’s). Berger BC’s are Doppler verified with less than 1% BC variation (no BS, they’re not inflated BC’s either), providing the highest long range hit-percentage of any projectile.
