Mesa, AZ – Team Berger shooters, Amanda Elsenboss and Justin Skaret, scored a 784-321Xs to secure first place at the Desert Classic Invitational in the Two Day Team Aggregate. The team used Berger 308 Winchester factory ammunition loaded with 30 Caliber 155.5 Grain Fullbore Target bullets.
“The match was great, it was good to be able to get together with some fellow Long Range shooters and duke it out. Wind was challenging all weekend and the competition was stout,” stated Skaret, who scored a 390-18Xs.
The Desert Classic Invitational brought together top level competitors in Palma, F-Open, and F/TR disciplines. The match was presented by the Desert Sharpshooters Rifle Club and took place February 10-14 at Ben Avery Rifle Range in Phoenix, AZ.
“On a range as formidable as Ben Avery can be, Berger Ammunition gives the coach and shooters confidence to attack wind changes while keeping shots centered,” commented Elsenboss. “This match ended up being a challenging yet rewarding start to the upcoming long range season.”
Both Skaret and Elsenboss added, “Shooting with your bestie on the range, and with the best ammunition out there, always ends in success!”
